Social Media Refresh for Local Business

Objective:
Rebrand and re-energize a local service business’s social media presence to increase engagement and generate more inbound inquiries.

Project Overview:
The business had an inactive and inconsistent social presence, with outdated visuals, poor engagement, and no real strategy. They were missing out on a younger local audience who relied heavily on Instagram for service discovery. I came in to create a strategy that would not only look good but convert interest into leads.

What I Did:

  • Conducted a visual and content audit of their existing Instagram and Facebook profiles.

  • Developed a social media content strategy that focused on behind-the-scenes content, customer reviews, educational tips, and local engagement.

  • Designed a branded Canva template system so the internal team could easily create and post content on their own.

  • Created a 30-day content calendar with hashtags, captions, and image references.

  • Trained staff on how to shoot content, write captions, and stay consistent with posting.

  • Tracked performance over 6 weeks using native analytics tools and provided optimization tips for future content.

Results:

  • 5x increase in Instagram reach
